SOLD. Oil. 12” X 12”. $300.00. I find painting smaller canvases exciting. Perhaps, that is due to the fact the time investment is less. Thus, it takes just a few days before I can move to another one. For me, I enjoyed the overlapping petals and the muted background. As you know pinks/reds are complimentary to greens. Of course, there is a subtle hint of turquoise and lavender. Thanks to Juanita Kruse, photographer extraordinaire, for allowing me to use her photograph as inspiration.
