SOLD The Neighbors' Peonies. Oil. 18" X 24". $600 + shipping. Peonies are such a beautiful and popular flower. Please note the subtle use of violet in the peonies shading. In addition, you may pick up on the florescent pink and florescent orange that I blend in. Most fun for me was using violet, repetition of color, as the shading hue in the vase. The color compliment of Yellow Ochre warmed the contrast. Lastly, I hope you take time to notice the crimson reflection of the vase and the table top.
